My approach is to learn from the past, be aware of the moment that you are in, and plan for your future.
I believe in the brain's own ability to heal using EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing).
I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Washington-Vancouver branch and a master’s degree in counseling from Lewis and Clark College, Portland, Oregon, the adult program with elective courses in eating disorders. My post-graduate training includes: EMDR, Trauma Care, Suicide Risk, Older Adults with Dementia, Fentanyl, Adult ADHD, Marijuana and the Brain, Burnout, Bipolar and Using Food as Medicine.
I am a Licensed Practicing Counselor (LPC) C8419.
